Dear friend,

I write to you on behalf of the above committee to express our opposition to recruitment by the armed forces in schools. We feel strongly that no school is an appropriate place for this kind of activity, and that schools should be a place for our children to develop for their futures in a world that we hope will be a peaceful one.
